While in Nepal, we met Madalina, a woman who was volunteering at an orphanage – and who similarly fell in love with the people she met. We all had the same sense of needing to “do something” and we felt we were leaving behind something important and meaningful. We were thrilled this week to learn […]
Thanks to the generosity of a few special J4J supporters, we went to Nepal this past spring with three "iPhone 3"s and $140... along with instructions from the donors to "do something good". We tried our best and wanted to share with you how a little can go a really long way in Nepal.
We have been so generously supported by hundreds of people helping us achieve our goals. So it feels really good to be able to help some of our supporters reach theirs. Jackets for Jasper is donating a jacket for the Looking Glass Foundation’s gala event this Friday.

We couldn’t wait to share this lovely letter with you! This was emailed to us today from Sage Transition House, the recipient of the donated jacket purchased by Brooksbank Elementary School’s Grade 4 class. After we’d met with the students and had our “show and tell” day where they asked a zillion great questions, we […]
Help! If you or someone you know is a web designer or developer and recognizes the words ‘WordPress’ and (more importantly) ‘WooCommerce’ or similar e-commerce WebStore tools, then we would love to hear from you! For our first try (with help from Alberto R) we created a simple but informative website. But, we quickly discovered […]
Wouldn’t the world be great if everyone helped each other? Well, Ms. Reichert’s Grade 4/Division 5 students at Brooksbank School in North Vancouver sure think so! The class wanted to help Jasper and Resmi go to school, so the students raised $120 and with it, they purchased one jacket and donated the rest. Even better, […]
